How we obtain your personal data
We process your Personal Data that we receive directly from you when you use our services:
- after making an order at www.verkter.com e-shop;
- after registering at www.verkter.com e-shop;
- after calling us by phone, email or live chat;
- when browsing at www.verkter.com e-shop;
- when making payments online;
- after liking our Facebook page;
- after commenting or sharing the post on our Facebook page.
The Company may receive information about you from external sources in accordance with legal requirements:
- when buying goods by signing a lease agreement;
- by providing (or when others provide) the details of a person other than the buyer who collects the goods;
- legal entities where you are an agent, employee, etc. of those legal entities;
- debt collection companies;

What personal data we collect from you and for what purpose we use it
Your name and contact details (such as your telephone number, email address, residential address) for the following reasons:
- delivery/collection of goods;
- ordering process or possible changes;
- completing the invoice;
- completing the guarantee document;
- information on the situation regarding warranty/non-warranty repairs;
- possibility to check the leasing option at your request;
- conclusion of a leasing contract;
- possibility to pay for your order via e-banking;
- identifying you when placing an order by phone;
- sending informative SMS messages or emails in connection with the fulfilment of your order or a request for a quality assessment;
- ability to place a new order more quickly and with less waste of your time and ours;
- contacting you on our Facebook page when you contact us or for marketing promotions (if you participate in competitions organised by us).
- Your personal identification number, ID number, monthly income, financial obligations and how long you have been working:
- for the possibility of concluding a leasing contract for your order with the help of a consultant.

- to ensure the safety of you and our employees, as well as to prevent theft of goods, we have installed surveillance cameras in our retail stores. When you visit our stores, you are being filmed. We review videos in the event of incidents, theft or other criminal acts in order to protect the legitimate interests of our victims.
To which third parties we transfer your personal data
We respect your data and only transfer it when necessary and only to trusted partners with whom we have contracts. We’re talking about:
- courier companies, to whom we have to pass information in order for the goods to reach you;
- payment institutions when you pay via e-banking or hire purchase;
- companies providing warranty services;
- Klavyo, a company on whose platform we collect your emails (when you subscribe to our newsletter yourself) and from where we send the newsletters.
It is mandatory for us to provide your data to:
- law enforcement authorities, in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.
- state authorities and courts, in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.
How long we retain your personal data
We keep your Personal Data for no longer than is necessary to achieve the objectives of the processing of your Personal Data or for the period of time specified/allowed by law, such as:
- we keep your Personal Data for 10 (ten) years after we fulfil the order you have placed (in a contractual relationship);
- in order to fulfil the warranty obligations, the Company may retain Personal Data for a period of 5 to 10 years from the date of performance of the contract;
- for direct marketing purposes (advertising or other special offers), we will retain your Personal Data until you object to it, but in any event for no longer than 5 (five) years from the date of your consent to direct marketing;
- the records of conversations shall be kept by the Company for up to 12 (twelve) months from the date of the conversation.
- We keep video recordings for up to 40 (forty) days.
How you can modify your personal data
If you are registered on our e-shop, you can always modify your contact details. Log in to ‘My Account’, go to ‘Review Account Settings’ and click ‘Edit’ to modify your data.

Your rights concerning processing of personal data
The GDPR and other legal acts shall give you rights, provide cases when you may use them, describe the procedure you must follow and exceptions when you cannot do it. If it is permitted by law, you have the right to:
receive confirmation from us as to whether we process Personal Data relating to you and, if so, what data we process;
- edit/correct your Personal Data;
- request that we delete your data and no longer process it. Unfortunately, we will not be able to do this in all cases. We may not delete your data if we determine that your data is necessary to achieve the objectives for which it was collected. We will also not be able to delete data if we are obliged to process your Personal Data under applicable European Union and national legislation;
- you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your Personal Data in cases where you believe that the data is inaccurate or unlawfully processed. In this case, we will no longer take any action other than retaining the data;
- you have the right to data portability. This means that upon request, you may receive the Personal Data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used format. If technically feasible and at your request, such data may be transferred directly to another person indicated by you;
- you have the right to object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes or statistical purposes.
If you believe that we are violating data protection legislation by processing your Personal Data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate, located at A. Juozapavičiaus g. 6, LT-09310 Vilnius, www.ada.lt.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to make changes/revisions to this policy, if necessary, and these changes/revisions will take effect upon posting an updated version of this privacy policy on our e-shop at www.verkter.com. After uploading the updated version we shall change the update date indicated at the bottom of the webpage. The user’s continued use of the Website after the changes have been made shall constitute the user’s acceptance of the changes made to the Privacy Policy.
Other information on retaining personal data
Data of a child. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that we are processing the data of individuals who are under the age of 16, we will remove the data of these individuals from our databases.
